Friends of Elvetham Heath Primary School

Our school has an active Friends Association. All parents of children attending Elvetham Heath School are members of the Friends of Elvetham Heath Primary School Association (FoEHPS).

The Friends (FoEHPS) play a very important role in the life of Elvetham Heath Primary School. Funds raised and donated by The Friends help to provide the pupils with many special events and a range of equipment including library books, digital cameras and even our Information Screen in the library. Most recently they have provided much needed Interactive Whiteboards for some of our classrooms, supporting our aim to upgrade all of our IWBs.  Your support for the work of The Friends is really important; please look out for the regular newsletters informing parents of upcoming events. The Friends hope to have a representative from all the classes to help coordinate support for events; if you are interested in being an active member please send a note addressed to ‘Friends’ via the school office. You can contact them at

The Friends are always trying to find innovative ways to fundraise, for example, turning our school hall into a very exciting racing venue, for a Race Night with a variety of additional 'side shows' in the library - where great fun was had by all!

Last summer The Friends held a traditional Summer Fete in the school grounds on a glorious summer afternoon, this year they organised a return visit of the circus. This is the third time they have arranged this event and once again it was a sell out performance!

The Friends often try out alternative Christmas activities, one year, instead of the conventional Christmas Fayre, pupils throughout the school were invited to join in a craft extravaganza and make a variety of festive crafts including Christmas crackers, snow globes, felt decorations and sequin baubles, whilst Mum and Dad could have a well deserved break!
