Applying for a school place

If you are considering moving to the area, you are welcome to call the school office for information regarding place availability and waiting list information for mid-year admissions, which are managed locally.

Applications can be made for a school place via the Hampshire admissions website.  After              1 September each year, when the main round closes, this includes Year R applications.  Once an application is completed we will write to you with the outcome within 10 school days (and within a maximum of 15 school days).

If we are unable to offer a place, your child's name will be added to our waiting list. You will be advised of your right to appeal against this decision by contacting the County Admissions Team, they will send the appropriate form and guidance notes.

All offers from waiting lists are made in accordance with our admissions policy. You can read our admission policy on the policies page.

The main round for Reception Year 2021 is now closed,

From September 2017 we have admitted 6 additional places to the Year 3 cohort as the class size increases from 30 to 32. We can consider applications in June (6 weeks prior to the end of the summer term) to start the following September.

Was your child born between 1 September 2013 and 31 August 2014?

Our school governors have a strategic plan to grow our junior classes and so we have six additional places to offer pupils who will be moving to Year 3 each September.

If you are interested in applying for a school place for Year 3 in September 2021, please do apply via the Hampshire website:  www.hants.gov.uk/educationandlearning/admissions.

Please note that as we are a primary school, this is not a main round application, as we do not take part in the infant to junior transfer. Please use the Hampshire website's in-year application tile and choose an August start date as the system closes on 31 August each year.

We offer these places six weeks before the end of term in June each year, (this will be after you have been allocated your main round school place).

Parents of  current Year 2 children are welcome to attend  the Year R information sessions, see dates above.
