All classes at Elvetham Heath Primary School are named after famous authors. In Year 6 they are called Sparkes (taught by Mrs Cooke), Pullman (taught by Miss Barbey) and Horowitz (taught by Mrs Blake and Mrs Nesbitt).

Avon Tyrrell 2026

Day 1 - We have had an amazing first day which has consisted of raft building, rock climbing, orienteering, and low ropes. We have finished our day of with a campfire and a night walk. We are now all tucked up in bed ready for another busy day tomorrow! 

Day 2 - What another amazing day at Avon Tyrrell! Today, we have completed paddle boarding, a tree top trail and challenge courses where we really tested our teamwork. A slightly earlier night tonight in preparation for tomorrow.

Day 3 - Today, the sun made a little bit of an appearance for the first time this week. Some of us enjoyed kayaking and  orienteering and we finished our evening with a disco showing off our best dance moves. 

Day 4 - Our final full day has been full of fun! We had some of our last activities of the trip and made the most of the sunshine coming out today. This evening we have enjoyed spending some time playing games together and working on our teamwork. 

Day 5 - What a fabulous week have had! We are all ready for the half-term now. Well done to everyone for showing lots of the virtues. Have a lovely restful half-term.
